Litmus Law

How are my matters handled at Litmus Law?

Rest assured, although we have a team of professionals at Litmus, all legal matters are never reviewed solely by staff. While we always attempt to utilize the correct team member(s) for efficiency, every substantive communication and filing is reviewed and authorized by an attorney. As a client, though, you should expect to receive routine communications, including reminders, reports, news, and updates, from other members of our team, as appropriate.

What are the benefits of choosing a small law firm?
At Litmus Law, we pride ourselves in offering the same quality as a larger firm but our efficiencies are reflected in our tailored pricing structures. We also aim to provide you with a more personalized experience than you may receive with a larger firm and without over-staffing or over-complicating matters. We are always happy to answer any questions that you may have, help you better understand the trademark process (check out our webinar series on our Learn More About Trademarks page), and offer individualized advice so that you can make the best decision to meet your intellectual property goals! We strive to answer all emails within 1 business day.

Litmus Law's fees are lower than other firms that I have been considering. What's the catch?
We strive to balance quality, costs, responsiveness and client relationships at Litmus Law. This means that as one of our clients, you are not sacrificing quality - you are just getting the benefit of efficiencies. We are always trying to ensure that you receive the same quality of services that a larger firm would provide but at a better price point, and with a more personalized, tailored experience. In the Litmus model, you are also not paying to train professionals. Litmus professionals have no minimum billable hour requirements and clients are never billed for training while still benefit from the wide range of competencies of Litmus professionals.
